An Android phone can be an excellent accessory to those that know how to use it. The Android desktop is unlike that of other phones. Other phones limit users to four rows of square icons, but the android gives them freedom to customize the desktop. Users, therefore, have the freedom to customize the desktop according to their interests, especially given the fact that users have up to seven home screen panels to utilize. Upon powering up the phone for the first time; the home screen panel appears. Other panels can then be accessed from either side of this screen that is either from the left or right. Users have the freedom to put anything on the home screen, for example, folders, shortcuts and widgets among others.

Folders used to keep things on the android organized. In a single folder, it is possible for users to group various shortcuts, thus, keeping things organized on the phone. To add a new folder onto the screen, the user has to select add new folder from the menu. Users also have the freedom to name the folders added and then drag whatever they want to add to the folder. For users to add shortcuts or widgets, they still need to select this from the main menu.

Google search app
This helps users to search the web for information just by talking. In other words, users are not required to type words into the search engine, but to speak into the microphone near the search bar. As soon as the user records what they want to search for, they will be presented with various results. This app is extremely accurate and the greatest thing about it is that it presents results faster than when users type words into the search bar.

Keyboard
Most Android phones have built in keyboards that do not require any form of typing. Users need to only talk into the microphone and the phone will automatically type the words. This saves a lot of time and gets the work done in less the time. This app is extremely accurate and users do not have to worry about misspelled words.

Widgets for Wi-Fi
Android also has a widget app that allows users to manage their Wi-Fi and Bluetooth functions. With the widget, users get the functions they want without having to search through the main phone menu.
